Fourth Challenge Overcome (Run for Clean Water with Janji), Fourth Digital Insignia Won, and a Social Challenge Promoted during March 2022
We continue to inform you about the March 2022 challenges that Akira and I accepted, the digital insignias that we received for successfully completing them, and a donation promoted to help the victims of Ukraine through the International Committee of the Red Cross.
Three March Challenges began on March 1st and ended on March 31st. Putting them in order, we have already mentioned Roka's "New Dawn 200" and STRAVA's "Walking 50k" and "Favorite Way 200k". As we continued to tackle the latest STRAVA challenge of walking 200k, on March 8, 2022 we added two new challenges that we faced simltaneously. The fourth challenge of the month was called "Run for Clean Water 2022." Did you know that the average person in the United States uses 101.5 gallons of water per day? While people from the USA don’t often pause to think about water use in the United States, 785 million people worldwide lack even a basic drinking-water service. This fourth challenge shed light on water use across the globe by challenging us to walk 101.5 minutes between March 8 and World Water Day on March 22. World Water Day was observed in order to invite reflection and to focus on water usage and access around the globe, but these issues are not limited to a single day. Water is vitally more important than just for our active pursuits; clean water changes lives. It is very important to expand access to safe drinking water especially in the places in which we run STRAVA confirmed to us on the same day, March 8, at 2:11 p.m., that we had overcome this fourth challenge. In the following articles you will see that simultaneously we continued to participate in other walking challenges.
During the month of March we also promoted donations for another worthy cause that also formed part of a March 2022 challenge. The "All for Ukraine" challenge included an invitation to donate to the International Committee of the Red Cross.
We continue to support the following statement from STRAVA,
