Seventh Challenge Overcome ("Ukraine Relief Challenge") and Seventh Digital Insignia Earned in March 2022

We continue to inform you about the March 2022 challenges that Akira and I accepted, the digital insignias that we received for successfully completing them, and a donation promoted to help the victims of Ukraine through the International Committee of the Red Cross.

Ukraine Relief Challenge

March 2022

During the month of March we promoted donations for a worthy cause that was part of the seventh challenge of March 2022. The "All with Ukraine" challenge (Ukraine Relief Challenge) included an invitation to donate to the International Committee of the Red Cross. The challenge began on March 14 and ended on March 27, 2022. This seventh challenge consisted of completing five (5) kilometers or more in a single activity (in our case, a walk). Akira and I did our walk the same morning when the challenge started and STRAVA confirmed it to us at 6:51am. We are waiting for the start of the last challenge of March.

Although the official time for this walking challenge has ended, we continue to support this statement from STRAVA:

"Like most, we feel anguish and concern about the war in Ukraine and the humanitarian crisis that it generates. For this reason, STRAVA will make a donation to the International Committee of the Red Cross, which provides people affected and displaced with direct help like food, water, blankets, medical and hygiene supplies, as well as first aid training. If you have the opportunity, we encourage you to also donate to the Red Cross here. Any amount is welcome."

"In times of crisis, sport can seem insignificant. However, we believe in the power of physical activity to unite, inspire and encourage people around the world. Let's join together to support the people of Ukraine. "

We also continue to support the following prayer as it reflects the longing of many hearts:

A PRAYER FOR UKRAINE
O God of peace and justice, We pray to you for the people of Ukraine today. We beg you for peace and the laying down of arms. We pray for all those who fear tomorrow, May Your Spirit of Comfort draw near to them. We pray for those who have power over war or peace, May they have wisdom, discernment and compassion to guide your decisions. Above all, we pray for all Your precious Children, In situations of risk and fear, for You to hold and protect them So we pray in the name of Jesus, the Prince of Peace. Amen. --From Archbishops Justin Welby and Stephen Cottrell Thank you for your financial and moral support while Akira and I walked this month! Have a nice day and keep exercising!
