Second Challenge Overcome (STRAVA'S Distance Walked), Second Digital Insignia Earned, and a Donation Promoted during March 2022
We continue to inform you about the March 2022 challenges that Akira and I accepted, the digital insignias that we received for successfully completing them, and a special challenge to promote donations to help the victims of Ukraine through the International Committee of the Red Cross.
March 2022
Three March Challenges started on March 1st and end on March 31st. Putting them in order, we previously mentioned Roka's "New Dawn 200" in the first article of this series. Now we refer to the STRAVA Challenge that Focuses on the Distance Walked in March 2022. It consisted of walking 50 kilometers during the month of March. Due to the number of monthly challenges that we now accept. we normally try to overcome this monthly challenge early in the month in order to focus on the other challenges to be overcome. STRAVA confirmed to us on March 6 at 2:29 p.m. that we had overcome this second challenge.
During the month of March we shall be promoting donations for another worthy cause that is also part of a March 2022 challenge. The "Everyone with Ukraine" challenge includes an invitation to make a donation to the International Committee of the Red Cross.

We support the following statement from STRAVA:
"Like most, we feel anguish and concern about the war in Ukraine and the humanitarian crisis that it generates. For this reason, STRAVA will make a donation to the International Committee of the Red Cross to provide direct help with food, water, blankets, medical and hygiene supplies, as well as first aid training for people affected and displaced. If you have the opportunity, we encourage you to also donate money to the Red Cross. Any amount is welcome."
"In times of crisis, sports can seem insignificant. However, we believe in the power of physical activity to unite, inspire and uplift people around the world. Let's join together to support the people of Ukraine."
We also support the following prayer:
A PRAYER FOR UKRAINE
O God of peace and justice,
We pray for the people of Ukraine today.
We beg you for peace and the laying down of arms.
We pray for all those who fear tomorrow,
May Your Spirit of Comfort draw near to them.
We pray for those who have power over war or peace,
May they have wisdom, discernment and compassion
to guide their decisions.
Above all, we pray for all Your precious Children,
In situations of risk and fear,
for You to hold and protect them
So we pray in the name of Jesus,
the Prince of Peace.
Amen.
